Terms of Service
Payments to the RetroMC servers (including RetroMC, BetaLands, and associated services) are payments for virtual items and/or ranks. These items have no cash value outside of our services.
- Refunds: Refunds may be granted at the discretion of staff. Requests based on being banned, losing access to your account/computer, or not using the service are generally not eligible.
- Bans & Rules: Bans are issued at staff discretion. Rules may change at any time. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of any updated rules.
- Service Availability: We do not guarantee continuous operation. If the server ceases operation, all virtual items are forfeit.
- Ranks & Perks: Staff may remove, modify, or limit ranks/perks at any time if abused or required for balance/operations.
By making a payment, you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Service.
Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and aim to collect only what is necessary to provide and improve our services.
- Use of Personal Information: Information provided to complete a purchase is used solely for order fulfilment, service delivery, and fraud prevention.
- No Resale: We do not sell or redistribute your personal information to third parties.

GDPR & Data Handling
Storage & Location: Purchase-related data (including IPN/notification logs) is stored privately on hardware rented from OVH SAS in Canadian data centres. Access to raw data is restricted to the Owner/Operator (Rhys B).
Publicly Shown Data: To support community transparency and recognition, we publicly display limited purchase metadata:
- Username (your in-game identifier)
- Amount Donated (e.g., for "Last Donator" or monthly totals)
- Package/Item purchased
Purchase events (item and username) may also be announced in-game on the Minecraft server.

Requesting Your Data
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you can request a copy of your personal data, ask for correction, or request deletion where applicable.

- We aim to respond within 30-40 days, depending on request complexity and verification requirements.
We may request additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
